Inverter-interface and branch-routing evidence

ABB ACS800 INT / AINT / PBU Interface Branch Evidence Record

Captures the physical branch evidence needed before a PPCC LINK case is turned into an INT, AINT, PBU, cable or inverter-module repair request.

Board and branch evidence record9 min read

Scope of this technical record

Use this record when a PPCC case points to INT/AINT interface electronics, PBU branch routing or a specific inverter-module branch.

Safety boundary

Do not move branch cabling or remove interface boards until the drive is safe and the original route has been photographed.

The evidence record keeps interface and module routes clear before parts sourcing.

ABB ACS800 interface evidence record INT AINT label PBU branch module suffix connector condition repair decision
The record ties board identity to branch position and fault evidence.

Interface evidence must preserve position

Interface-board evidence is partly positional. A board label without its branch route may not be enough to decide which module or cable path was involved. Photograph the branch before any exchange.

The record should show the cabinet/module layout, the INT/AINT board label, PBU or branch routing, fibre/connector condition and whether a previous repair changed the original arrangement.

Branch record table

Use this table when preparing a repair, donor board or interface-route review.

Evidence intake

Turn this record into a qualified service request

A repair decision is much more reliable when the request includes the exact identity of the drive, the first fault evidence and the machine condition when the symptom appeared.

  • Complete drive type code / MLFB or nameplate model
  • Fault code, fault value and first event before reset
  • When the event appears: power-up, enable, ramp, run, decel or stop
  • Motor/cable connected or isolated during the symptom
  • Visible board, option-card, module and connector identifiers
  • Previous repair history, replacement parts and repeat-failure pattern
