Scope of this technical record
F050 optimization-run route for SIMOREG 6RA70 cases during current-loop, speed-controller, field-weakening or commissioning work.
Qualified commissioning personnel only. Do not repeat optimization attempts into an unknown or loaded machine state.
6RA70 F050 optimization route
F050 is routed through optimization evidence before controller or power-interface decisions.
6RA70 F050 optimization route
F050 is an optimization evidence problem
F050 should be read with the selected optimization run and fault value. The same front-panel fault can point to different evidence depending on whether the run was preparing current control, speed control, field weakening or another commissioning step.
The technician needs the run type, the moment the run failed, motor data, field proof, load state and feedback source before deciding whether the drive, CUD1, power interface or machine setup is responsible.
F050 evidence split
| Evidence | What it can prove | Service direction |
|---|---|---|
| Fault value and run type | Which optimization step failed | Use the correct route instead of a generic fault reset |
| Armature current behavior | Whether the selected run could build the required current | Check fuse, bridge, field and load evidence |
| Machine load / brake | Whether process torque disturbed the run | Uncouple or release load before repeating |
| Speed feedback | Whether actual speed evidence was believable | Check tach / encoder before tuning |
| Parameter memory | Whether settings can be saved | Move to F051 / CUD1 memory route |
Do not tune around missing evidence
A failed optimization run is often treated as a parameter problem, but changing controller gains without proving feedback and current-loop conditions can make the machine less safe. Preserve the parameter set, then prove the mechanical and electrical preconditions in order.

Technical basis and reference documents
This is an independent editorial technical reference. Original manufacturer documentation remains controlling for installation, repair and commissioning decisions.
OEM troubleshooting reference for 6RA70 fault values, tachometer checks, CUD1 / power-interface context and optimization-run faults.
Base operating and commissioning context for SIMOREG DC-MASTER converters, parameterization and speed-sensing setup.
Diagnostic workflow
Turn this record into a qualified service request
A repair decision is much more reliable when the request includes the exact identity of the drive, the first fault evidence and the machine condition when the symptom appeared.
- Complete drive type code / MLFB or nameplate model
- Fault code, fault value and first event before reset
- When the event appears: power-up, enable, ramp, run, decel or stop
- Motor/cable connected or isolated during the symptom
- Visible board, option-card, module and connector identifiers
- Previous repair history, replacement parts and repeat-failure pattern
